Southern University Law Center proudly announces the honorees for the 2026 Alumni and Friends Round-Up, happening April 8-11 recognizing alumni who have made significant contributions to the legal profession and their communities.

This year’s honorees include outstanding individuals selected for the Judicial Wall of Fame, Distinguished Alumni Award, and Hall of Fame. These accolades celebrate graduates who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to justice.

The Judicial Wall of Fame inductees are Honorable Robbins S. Graham (Class of 1987),  Honorable Sandra Jackson (Class of 1980),  and Honorable LaKeisha N. Jefferson (Class of 2002). The Judicial Wall of Fame unveiling ceremony takes places on Thursday, April 9 at the Bert & Sue Turner Gallery Shaw Center for the Arts at 4 p.m.

The Distinguished Alumni honorees include Bridget Biagas (Class of 2006), Dr. Anthony Boyce Canada (Class of 1987), Walter Gabriel (Class of 2009), Ross LeBlanc (Class of 2011), Susan East Nelson (Class of 2014), and Michael B. Victorian (Class of 2014). The  Distinguished Alumni and Friends reception takes place at the River Terrace Shaw Center for the Arts at 5:30 p.m.

We conclude the round-up by celebrating this year’s Hall of Fame honorees which include Ron Austin (Class if 1995), Brandy Owens Domengeaux (Class of 2005), Kirk A. Guidry, Sr. (Class of 1991), Michael Jackson (Class of 1991), Roderick A. James (Class of 2003), Deidre Deculus Robert (Class of 2000),  Vernon P. Thomas (Class of 199) (Posthumously), and Shane D. Williams (Class of 2005)
