Everett Leon Kendrick, a valued professional DJ known for his vibrant energy and passion for music, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. Born on October 20, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Everett dedicated much of his life to his craft, leaving an indelible mark on the communities where he performed and lived.

Everett was a proud high school graduate whose career as a professional DJ allowed him to connect with many, sharing the soundtrack of countless celebrations and moments of joy. He was admired not only for his technical skill and deep understanding of music but also for his genuine kindness and the warmth he brought to every event.

His final days were spent in Arlington, Texas, where he was surrounded by memories of a life well-lived. The community now remembers him with respect and affection, honoring the legacy he leaves behind.

A viewing to pay respects to Everett will be held on April 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, Texas, 75224. His funeral service will follow the next day, on April 2, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Everett Leon Kendrick’s passing is a profound loss. Yet, through his contributions to music and the joy he shared, his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory be a blessing.
