LaDonna J. Haynes, a beloved member of the Ennis community and a cherished former teacher at Candy Cane Corner Childcare Center, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, in her hometown of Ennis, Texas. Born on September 18, 1968, in Ennis, she lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and an unwavering love for her family and community.

A proud graduate of Ennis High School, Ladonna dedicated many years to nurturing young minds, bringing her great welcoming spirit to the childcare classroom. Her commitment to education and the development of children earned her deep respect and affection from colleagues, students, and parents alike.

Ladonna was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren to the highest. She treasured family and social gatherings, where her joyful presence and generous heart shone brightest. Those who knew her remember her as a woman of kindness, generosity, and a spirit that uplifted those around her.

A memorial service celebrating Ladonna’s life will be held on March 21, 2026, 11:00 AM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, located at 704 Ripley Ave, Ennis, TX 75119. Friends, family, and all who were touched by her life are invited to honor her memory and legacy.

Ladonna leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the community she so dearly loved.
