OBIT: YVONNE TATE

Yvonne Tate, a beacon of warmth and compassion, departed this world on February 15, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on September 21, 1947, Yvonne lived a life brimming with kindness and love, her radiant smile lighting up the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Yvonne’s spirit was unmatched, resonating with an energy that seemed to draw people toward her. Her kindness knew no bounds; she had a way of making each person feel cherished and valued. Whether it was through a heartfelt conversation or a simple gesture, she embodied the essence of what it meant to be compassionate and understanding.

Friends and family will gather to honor Yvonne’s memory with a Prayer Service on February 27, 2026, beginning at 7:15 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. This will be a time for all who loved her to share their remembrances, bask in the joy she brought into their lives, and reflect on the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

The celebration of Yvonne’s life will continue on February 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service held at Greater Eleazer Baptist Church, also in Fort Worth. Here, those she touched will come together to pay tribute to a life beautifully lived, embracing the harmony she gifted to the world.

Though Yvonne has departed from this earthly realm, her light does not fade. It lives on in the countless lives she has enriched, her memory forever etched in the hearts of those she loved. We will all miss her kind spirit and bright smile, but she will remain a guiding star in our memories, leading us forward with the warmth of her love.
