Jacqueline Yvonne Sims, a cherished member of the Dallas community, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on November 9, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, Jacqueline’s life was a testament to warmth and kindness. Those who knew her often described her as quiet and shy, yet she was always adorned with a lovely smile that illuminated any room she entered.

Jacqueline dedicated her career to serving her community as a clerk in the sheriff’s department, where her presence was met with respect and admiration from her colleagues. Her dependable nature and unwavering commitment to her work left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jacqueline was known for her love of bingo, a pastime that not only brought her joy but also allowed her to connect with friends and fellow enthusiasts. Her beautiful spirit will be most remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jacqueline’s visitation will be held on February 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home – Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow the next day, on February 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home – Dallas.

Though her departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, Jacqueline Yvonne Sims will be remembered for her lovable personality, beautiful smile, and the joy she brought to the lives she touched.
