Eugene Howell Jr., a beloved figure in his community, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on January 1, 1936, Eugene lived a life characterized by his loving and caring nature, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

As a family-oriented individual, Eugene took great pride in his relationships, cherishing the moments spent with his loved ones. His warm smile and happy demeanor brought joy to many, making him a treasured friend and confident.

In honoring Eugene’s memory, the community is invited to gather for a viewing on February 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. This will be followed by a funeral service on February 23, 2026, at New Leaf Missionary Baptist Church, starting at 11:00 AM, at 5044 Veterans Drive, Dallas, TX 75241.

Eugene Howell Jr. will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and uplift those who carry on in his memory.
