OBIT: JAMES WINSTON CORNELIOUS

James Winston Cornelious, cherished by many, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Known for his sociable nature, James had a unique ability to connect with others and was often seen as a beacon of light, brightening even the darkest days with his humor, insightful wisdom, and playful sarcasm. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet he will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

A devoted member of Living Word Church under the guidance of Pastor Michael Hill, James had a deep love for the Lord, which was a defining aspect of his life.

James is preceded in death by his father, Robert Douglas Cornelious Sr.; his sister, Margaret Suzette Hill; and his brother, Keenan Eugene Cornelious.

He is survived by a supportive family, including his parents, Fred and Louise Evans; brothers, Robert Cornelious Jr. and Undra Cornelious; his beloved niece, Demetria; nephews Robert, Keenan, Brandon, Undra Jr., and Jarae; nieces La’Needra, Cordia, and Keveynah; as well as his loving spouse, Pam Nixon. He also leaves behind his sons, James Cornelious and Sterling Darby; his daughter, Jamese Cornelious; and the Chaffin family.

Additionally, James is celebrated and remembered by multiple grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends who will continue to honor his memory.

James Winston Cornelious’ legacy of love, laughter, and connection will endure through all whose lives he touched.
