Vernita Wilson, Ed.D., is the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology for the Starkville-Oktibbeha Consolidated School District. She has been Sales Manager for Bailey Education Group, LLC, Regional Director of Instructure, Account Executive at TE21/Case21 and Certica Solutions, and Interim Professional Development Director for Jackson Public Schools. She is skilled in educational consulting, educational sales, secondary education, and educational coaching. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Wilson received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Alcorn State University, and she has a specialist degree and Doctor of Education/ Higher Education Administration from Delta State University.
