OBIT: Tierra Ta’Sha Edwards

Tierra Ta’Sha Edwards, a beacon of kindness and love, departed from this world on January 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy woven through the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Born on October 18, 1982, Tierra radiated charisma and warmth that transformed each encounter into a cherished memory.

Her supportive nature embraced countless friends, extending beyond the simple act of compassion to cultivate meaningful connections that brought joy to those around her. Tierra’s generosity knew no bounds; she would often share her talents in the kitchen, delighting family and friends with her exquisite baking treats that infused rooms with delightful aromas and sweetness alike. Each bite was not merely a taste experience but a symbol of her nurturing spirit.

As we gather to honor the beautiful life of Tierra Ta’Sha Edwards, we invite her community to join us for a visitation at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, on January 27, 2026, starting from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The following day, a funeral service will be held at Greater New Zion Baptist, where we will celebrate her life and the profound impact she had on so many, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.

Though our hearts ache at her passing, we are reminded of the light she has left in our lives and the love she imparted so freely. Tierra Ta’Sha Edwards will forever be remembered as a nurturing soul, a joyous spirit, and an irreplaceable part of our community. Her legacy of love, laughter, and delectable treats will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence.
