Rosie Mae Kennard, a beloved member of her community, passed away on January 5, 2026, in Centerville, Texas. Born on October 21, 1934, in Washington, Texas, Rosie lived a rich and fulfilling life that deeply touched the hearts of those who knew her.

Rosie’s passion for family was evident in everything she did. She cherished family gatherings, always bringing warmth and joy to those moments. Her love for cooking was legendary, as she delighted in preparing meals that brought everyone together around the dining table. Rosie’s flair for fashion further displayed her vibrant personality; she took great pride in her appearance and loved to express herself through style.

To honor Rosie’s life, a Wake Service will be held at Samaria Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 15, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location, scheduled for January 16, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM.

As friends and family prepare to bid farewell to such a remarkable woman, they will carry with them the cherished memories of her warmth, laughter, and love. Rosie Mae Kennard will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
