OBIT: DWIGHT PAUL BURLEY

Dwight Paul Burley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on December 19, 2025, leaving a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on May 30, 1978, Dwight dedicated over 25 years of his life as a master barber, showcasing his artistry in creating styles that brightened the days of countless clients. His hands, skilled and gentle, were not only tools of his trade but also extensions of a man known for his warmth and kindness.

Dwight’s passions extended far beyond the barber chair. He embraced life with a fervor that led him to travel to many exciting destinations and to indulge in the joys that good food brings. His love for new experiences was matched only by his commitment to family, remaining a steadfast pillar for them throughout his life.

To honor Dwight’s memory and the legacy of love and friendship he leaves behind, a viewing will be held on January 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life during the funeral service on January 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Christian Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4706 Fellows Lane, Dallas, TX 75216

Dwight’s presence in our lives was a cherished gift, and although he has departed from our sight, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to resonate in our hearts. He will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered by those whose lives he touched.
