WASHINGTON D.C. – On Friday we heard from “mainstream media” that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said he’s open to talks with Trump but won’t comment on U.S. strike on Venezuelan dock” https://www.nbcnews.com/world/venezuela/venezuela-nicolas-maduro-donald-trump-us-drug-trafficking-dock-strike-rcna251882?utm_source=firefox-newtab-en-us.
Saturday we woke up to “U.S. strikes Venezuela and says leader Maduro has been captured and flown out of the country” https://www.nbcnews.com/world/venezuela/venezuela-nicolas-maduro-donald-trump-us-drug-trafficking-dock-strike-rcna251882?utm_source=firefox-newtab-en-us.
Somewhere the truth lies in a shadowy corner with a lot of the details being hidden.
That is politics.
And yes, that is why the United States is involved.
Even so, while the U.S. is having a real time just dealing with its own internal issues from state-to-state alongside the realization that millions of dollars have been used toward fraudulent daycare schemes, feeding schemes during COVID, and more, we are instead capturing heads of state in foreign countries.
The U.S. Constitution outlines a division of powers where the federal government (the President and Congress) is responsible for international relations and interstate commerce, while state governments are to deal with matters within their own borders that are not clearly delegated to the federal government.
The President and Congress can negotiate foreign treaties with Senate approval, appoint ambassadors and acting as Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.
The state then takes over in the regulation of internal affairs and commerce that occurs within that state’s borders. In fact, the 10th Amendment to the Constitution states that powers not delegated to the federal government are reserved for the states or the people.
This is supposed to mean the nation is represented by one voice of the President and Congress on foreign affairs and interstate matters and the state has autonomy to manage their unique internal needs.
What has happened to the “One Voice” of the American people lately though?
I know a lot of Americans are not in agreement with many of the schemes going on right now.
When you wonder why the lawmakers from your state are voting for a massive increase in defense spending, a nod toward health insurance rate increases, forced vaccinations due to suspicious pandemics, daycare subsidies, and the list goes on please do me a favor.
Look at your Congressional representative democrat or republican and investigate what lobbyist groups and PACS are giving that representative money. And look at how much money.
Here is a good place to begin your research https://www.opensecrets.org/ because the answer is right there for you to discover on your own.
Also look at how crude-oil, oil-reserves, etc.… plays a role in the U.S. government and U.S. involvement in oil interests around the world.
As for Venezuela, they have oil.
And for the record, yes, Venezuela does hold the biggest proven oil reserves globally, significantly more than Saudi Arabia or the U.S.
With nothing to hide President Donald Trump even mentioned Venezuela’s oil more than once in Saturday’s press conference regarding the U.S. strikes and Maduro capture in that country.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio reportedly indicated “Maduro will face criminal charges in the U.S., where he was indicted years ago,” which came from the Trump Administration having accused Maduro of drug trafficking and working with gangs. Maduro has denied this accusation.
Over the last few weeks the U.S. has seized two oil tankers off the Venezuelan coast and succeeded in deadly strikes on more than 30 boats that were said to be carrying drugs.
“Maduro and his wife will soon face the full might of American justice and stand trial on American soil,” Trump said in the news conference. “Right now, they’re on a ship that will be heading to ultimately New York.”
So here we are again, another outlandish media narrative movie script for the day that will divert from the fraud issues in Minnesota that have now spread to issues in Maine, Ohio and Washington State and the fact Israel’s Bibi Netanyahu was here on Christmas day collecting his expensive holiday gifts from the United States.
With a full new list of reasons for gasps and wheezes we are seeing the left in horror that the United States has “kidnapped” Maduro.
Over on the right side you have shouts and hoorahs that the United States has done the right thing promoting more bombs and negative energy and somewhere China and Taiwan and Ukraine and Russia have even been thrown into the mix from both sides like a big ugly salad that we are all tired of being served.
Bloodthirsty or blind you be judge!
Somewhere in that shadowy corner does lie the truth. And I almost forgot, apparently Trump has announced the U.S. will “run” Venezuela for now.
