Ora LeRoy Wilson, born on August 17, 1925, in Arp, Texas, transitioned to her eternal rest on December 2, 2025, at the age of 100 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a beloved member of her community and an inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ora was known for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family. Family gatherings were a cherished tradition in her life, where she often served as the heart of the celebration. Her warmth and enthusiasm made every family event a memorable occasion.

In addition to her devotion to family, Ora had a passion for puzzles that kept her mind sharp and engaged throughout her life. She found joy in the challenge of piecing together intricate images, reflecting her ability to see beauty in the details.

Ora was also a talented baker, with her kitchen often filled with the delightful aromas of her latest creations. Her skills in the kitchen not only nourished her family but also brought joy to many friends, as she generously shared her baked goods at gatherings and special occasions.

Her contributions to her family and friends will be deeply missed, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and togetherness.

Ora’s viewing will take place on December 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, TX 76119. The funeral service will follow the next day, December 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Allen Chapel AME Church, located at 116 Elm Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102, concluding at 1:00 PM.

Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of family, friendship, and compassion. Ora LeRoy Wilson will forever be remembered for the love she cultivated and the joy she brought to those around her.
