OBIT: OTIS CHARLES MCKINNEY

Otis  Charles McKinney, a beloved family member and friend, passed away on November 17, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on June 26, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas, Otis lived a life filled with passion, joy, and unwavering love for those around him.

He was known for his deep affection for family gatherings, where his warmth and laughter created cherished memories that will long be remembered by loved ones. Otis took great pleasure in the joy of music, often sharing his favorite tunes, which served as a backdrop to many happy occasions. His enthusiasm extended to sports as well, as he enjoyed participating in and watching various games, cherishing the camaraderie they inspired.

Otis held a special place in his heart for his school, Kirkpatrick, and the friends he made there. The bonds he formed throughout his life were indicative of the values he upheld: loyalty, friendship, and community. He treasured the time spent with classmates and relished the stories that were built upon their shared experiences.

Otis McKinney leaves behind a legacy of love and the profound impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will continue to resonate through the lives he touched, reminding us all of the importance of family, friendship, and the simple joys of life. He will be dearly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Viewing Friday 11-28-2025, from 1-6 p.m. follow by wake 6-7 p.m. Service Saturday 11-29-2025 @11:00 a.m., East St Paul Baptist Church, 5300 Oak Grove Rd. W, Fort Worth, TX  76134. Burial Tuesday 12-2-2025@ 2p.m.  Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
