Bessie LaChelle Scott, born on May 1, 1965, in Marianna, Arkansas, passed away on November 16, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and vibrant personality. She was 60 years old.

Bessie’s career as a business owner, specializing in flipping houses and merchandise resale, demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication. Her relentless work ethic and passion for her trade not only provided for her family but also embodied the values she cherished.

A beloved figure to all, Bessie was known for her outgoing nature and her love for engaging with family and friends. She had a flair for fashion and often expressed her distinctive style through pretty clothes and big hats, reflecting her vivacious spirit. Bessie was also an automobile enthusiast who appreciated the beauty of cars, further marrying her love for aesthetics with her everyday life.

Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her respectful demeanor and genuine love for those in her life created lasting connections that transcended mere acquaintanceship.

Bessie’s visitation will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on Fri, November 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM, followed by a Wake Service at the same location, starting at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church in Mesquite on Sat, November 29, 2025, at 11:30 AM.  Bessie’s final resting place will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, with the burial service scheduled for Mon, December 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

Bessie LaChelle Scott may have left this world, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, reminding all of the beauty of life and the importance of nurturing relationships. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to the lives she touched.
