Jerry Wayne Lewis, born on December 17, 1941, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a man who embodied kindness and warmth, touching the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jerry had a deep appreciation for music, particularly R&B and Gospel, which provided not only a soundtrack to his life but also a source of joy and comfort through the years. He found great pleasure in dancing, often sharing this love with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

The legacy of Jerry Wayne Lewis will be honored in the coming days. A viewing will be held on November 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, Texas, 76119. Following this, a funeral service will take place on December 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bright Glory Missionary Baptist Church, situated at 4216 Avenue G, Fort Worth, Texas, 76105.

The spirit of Jerry Wayne Lewis will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of many, his laughter and love forever echoed in the songs he cherished and the moments he created. He will be greatly missed.
