Give Thanks

I love silent auctions, especially when for a good cause!

Anytime we are raising funds for scholarships, I am all in.

That’s right, I am still raising funds – hopefully as little as $1 million — to help Florida A&M University students.

Are you asking, “Who has a million dollars?”

When you consider the many who give versus the ones who don’t, you have to trust and believe that some aren’t doing anything, and they should be held accountable.

In the U.S. alone, there are between 813 and 867 billionaires in the USA, according to nchstats.com.

Contrast that number to the 35.9 million living in poverty, as reported on Census.gov.

Then there’s also all of those in between, like me.

Clearly, there are more in a position to give a little, and we can give something, instead of telling others how to spend their money.

It’s interesting how people can spend others’ money but can’t find the energy to dig into their own pockets or accounts.

Here’s a way to give and get something back in return. The Blackity Black Friday Auction has begun.

Click on the QR code or log on to https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/run-it-back-auction and check out some of the items you have an opportunity to bid on.
