TEXAS STATE REP. TONI ROSE FILES FOR EIGHTH TERM REPRESENTING HOUSE DISTRICT 110

DALLAS – State Representative Toni Rose (D-Dallas) has officially filed to seek an eighth term representing House District 110, reaffirming her commitment to serve the Dallas County communities of Oak Cliff, Pleasant Grove, and Balch Springs.

“It has been the honor of my life to represent the people of House District 110,” said Rep. Rose. “For the last twelve years, I have worked to expand access to healthcare, build stronger schools, ensure our students have access to food, and get our communities the resources they deserve. There is still work to be done, and I’m asking voters to trust me to keep fighting for them in Austin.”

Since first taking office in 2013, Rep. Rose has established herself as a leading voice for healthcare access, criminal justice, food security, and human services. During her time in the Texas House of Representatives, she has secured $1.5 billion in funding to build a better Texas, including over $260 million for the new Texas Behavioral Health Center at UT Southwestern, the first state mental health hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Rep. Rose has passed 45 new laws during her tenure as State Representative for House District 110. Her legislative achievements include extending postpartum Medicaid coverage from two months to one year, expanding access to affordable prescription medications, and establishing the Statewide Interagency Aging Services Coordinating Council.

“I’m ready to keep doing the work and delivering real results for the families who call District 110 home,” she added.

As Texas enters another critical election cycle, Representative Rose emphasized the importance of steady, community-driven leadership. She looks forward to engaging with voters across District 110 and building on her record of improving the lives of Texans.

Representative Rose is the Vice Chair of the House Committee on Calendars and serves on the House Committees on Appropriations, Human Services, and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Article II. Elected in 2012, she represents District 110, which includes the diverse communities of Oak Cliff, Pleasant Grove, and Balch Springs.
