(Left to Right) Regenald Alexander Jr, Curtis Lawrence, and Stefan Moore Jr the three men involved with the incident on November 5th.

A press conference was held earlier this week, where three men connected with Skyward transportation were arrested last week in what attorney Anthony Farmer calls an unjust and harassing incident following a disputed traffic stop. The arrests, which took place on November 5th in Lewisville, involved Officers Gary Edge and Larken of the Lewisville Police Department.

According to Attorney Anthony Farmer, Curtis Lawrence, Stefan Moore Jr., and Regenald Alexander Jr., the chief operating officer of Skyward transportation, were all taken into custody by the same officer.

As Pastor Malcolm McGruder, Executive Pastor at Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, added, “were not here because we want to be here, but because injustice has forced us to be here, because it forced itself into the lives of the black men who are simply trying to live free, trying to be human and unharrassed.”

Community leaders are now demanding accountability.

Crystal Bates, President of DFW Metro NAACP branch, said Skywardd Transportation had been targeted, “This was very unfortunate for our community…his company has been targeted and harassed.”

When it comes to a response from Lewisville PD, there has not been a response, according to attorney Anthony Farmer, as he states, “I think there will be a response now, as pastor Megruder said it’s about hiding, it’s not about transparency with them. It starts at the top; the actions at the top trickle down. Right now, there’s no accountability and no truth.”

Attorney Farmer says the men plan to fight the charges and seek justice. With the ongoing investigation.
