“Toast Today – Tussle Tomorrow” Event to Kick Off 2026 GOP Primary Season in Ellis County

Midlothian, TX – Ellis County voters are invited to attend a unique pre-campaign event, “Toast Today – Tussle Tomorrow,” on November 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Union 28 in Midlothian. This event aims to bring together Republican candidates and voters in a friendly, community-focused setting before the competitive 2026 GOP Primary season begins.

“Toast Today – Tussle Tomorrow” offers voters a chance to meet candidates running for offices ranging from Republican Party Precinct Chairs to County Chair, Justice of the Peace to County Judge, State Representative to Congressional Representative, and more, on the March 2026 Primary ballot.

Event Highlights: Candidate Introductions: Each attending candidate will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and share their vision in a positive, non-competitive atmosphere.

Meet and Mingle: Candidate may host informational booths with literature, banners, and signs.

Community Engagement: Voters can connect with candidates, learn about their platforms, and enjoy fellowship before the primary campaigns intensify.

Free Admission: The event is free to attend, with a cash bar and soft drinks available.

As the polls close at 7:00 PM on November 4, 2025, for the constitutional amendment election, attention will shift to the March 2026 GOP Primary. This event offers a unique opportunity for Ellis County voters to meet candidates, discuss shared Republican values, and prepare for the upcoming primary season.
