Candace Parker First Woman on 2K Cover

The new NBA 2K video game cover art, released on Wednesday, made history with covers featuring Dallas Maverick star Luka Doncic and former Mav great Dirk Nowitzki, and WNBA star Candace Parker among others.
The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition cover features Kevin Durant, Kareem Abdul Jabar, and Dirk “3 NBA legends representing 3 eras of basketball. Each of them totally changed the game in their own way,” NBA2K officials said in announcing the covers.
Doncic was named the cover athlete for NBA 2K22 regular edition as was Parker, star center for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky. Parker is the first female cover athlete in the history of NBA2K.
This is the first time any member of the Mavericks franchise has been on the cover of 2K.
All the athletes took to social media to express their pleasure at being named the next faces of NBA 2K.
