Mia Moody, PhD, is a Professor/Former Chair Baylor Journalism, Public Relations & New Media within the College of Arts & Sciences., President-Elect for the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC). A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and The Links, Inc., and the National Association of Black Journalists, she received her Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University, Masters Degrees in journalism and educational Psychology from Baylor, University and her Ph.D in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She has had an extensive career as an educator and a journalist, also working for the Waco Tribune Herald and Stevens Publishing.
