Actor Floyd Roger Myers Jr. has died at the age of 42, according to reports.
Myers, who appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Jacksons: An American Dream, suffered a fatal heart attack at his Maryland home early in the morning on Wednesday, October 29, his mother, Renee Trice, told TMZ in a story published that day.
Renee said that her son had experienced three heart attacks within three years prior to his death on Wednesday. She told the outlet that she had spoken to Myers on Tuesday night.
As a child, Myers played a younger version of Will Smith during an episode of Fresh Prince that aired in 1992. That year, he also had a starring role in The Jacksons: An American Dream, playing young Marlon Jackson. The ABC miniseries focused on the musical Jackson family, including superstar Michael Jackson.

In 2000, Myers filmed an episode of the WB drama Young Americans.
He later launched The Fellaship Mens Group, which aims to “build a strong brotherhood of men dedicated to healing, growth, and purpose,” its website reads. “Through wellness programs, honest conversations, and community engagement, we empower men to prioritize their mental, emotional, and spiritual health — so they can lead, love, and live with impact.”

His younger sister, Tyree Trice, has started a GoFundMe page to support Myers’ four children and cover funeral expenses.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of my beloved brother, Floyd Roger Myers Jr , who tragically left us today after a sudden heart attack,” she wrote Wednesday. “He was a devoted father, loving brother, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and warmth touched everyone he met.”

She said, “Roger leaves behind his four beautiful children — Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler, and Knox — and our loving family is now facing the unimaginable loss of someone who meant everything to us.”
Renee shared Tyree’s notice on her Facebook page, writing, “This not supposed to be so.”
The Fellaship Mens Group paid tribute to Myers via Instagram, sharing a photo of him with his kids.
“RIP to our good brother @rocwonder one of our co founders,” the organization stated in a caption. “Gone but never will be forgotten. The mission will continue in your honor. Next mens meeting will be one for the books like we talked about! Love you bro, rest easy, big bro will take it from here.”
