Denise Valentine Foundation Partners with DeSoto Lions Club, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and DeSoto ISD ROTC to Provide Beds for Children in Need

DeSoto, TX – On September 20, 2025, the Denise Valentine Foundation proudly collaborated with the Lions Club and Sleep in Heavenly Peace to deliver comfort and security to children in need by assembling and setting up beds directly in their homes.

With the dedicated support of the DeSoto ISD ROTC student cadets, nine brand-new beds were constructed and made up, ensuring that nine children now have a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of all three organizations to serve the community and improve the quality of life for local families. By combining resources, leadership, and compassion, the project addressed a vital need while also empowering young cadets through meaningful service.

“Every child deserves the dignity of a safe place to rest,” said Denise Valentine,Founder & CEO of the Denise Valentine Foundation. “Through the power of partnership, we are not only meeting immediate needs, but also planting seeds of hope and community connection that will last far beyond today.”

The Denise Valentine Foundation remains committed to building strong communities through community service, collaboration, and compassion. Our mission is to encourage and reward our youth for community service through activities and scholarships.
