In partnership with the African American Education Archives

History Program those funds would be used to develop a historical and cultural board through virtual interaction..

“I am extremely happy to secure this funding for the African American Museum, especially with the many attempts to negate and/or re-write history and the many contributions of our leaders past and present,” Representative Davis said, adding that she views the funds as a second legislative success to preserve history!
“As the Representative for Texas House District 111, it is my vision and hope that these funds will be realized as our second effort to partner with our community institutions and secure funding resources as a catalyst to capture, preserve and link the past to the present as it relates African American history in Dallas and across the nation. This will be a win for the community!”
