OBIT: TROY EVERETT THOMPSON

Troy Everette Thompson, born on February 1, 1987, left this world on September 25, 2025, at the age of 38. He will be fondly remembered for his vibrant personality and the joyous spirit he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.

A man of many passions, Troy was known for his upbeat nature and his profound love for electronics and video games. He had an incredible talent for computers, showcasing his technical prowess in ways that often left friends and family in awe. Troy’s artistic side shone through in his love of drawing, providing a creative outlet that complemented his analytical mind.

Troy’s culinary enthusiasm was equally noteworthy; he relished the pleasures of good food, bringing warmth and love into gatherings with his favorite dishes. His family and friends will cherish memories not only of his laughter but also of the meals shared around the table, where his energy made even the simplest occasions feel special.

He embraced his roles as a father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend with sincerity and affection. Troy brought a unique light to every relationship, making him a beloved figure among those who knew him best.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the following services: a viewing on Wednesday  October 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:15 PM, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas; a wake service on Wednesday  October 1, 2025, at 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM  also at Golden Gate Funeral Home Ft Worth and a funeral service on Thursday October 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St John Unleashed in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Troy’s legacy of joy, creativity, and love will endure in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered.
