St. Philip’s School and Community Center is proud to announce its role as an official Community Partner for the 100th Anniversary of the State Fair Classic. To mark this historic occasion, St. Philip’s will host a FREE community-wide State Fair Classic Tailgate filled with food, fun, and fellowship on Saturday, September 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the school’s campus, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Dallas, TX 75215.
The State Fair Classic Tailgate at St. Philip’s promises an unforgettable day of celebration leading up to the big game. Families and friends will enjoy a vibrant mix of live music, bounce houses and yard games, a live DJ, photo opportunities, and exciting giveaways. With delicious food vendors on site and plenty of activities for all ages, the event is designed to bring the community together in true St. Philip’s spirit.
What to Expect:
- Entertainment: Eternal Sunshine Photo Bus, bounce houses, yard games, live DJ, and giveaways
- Food Vendors: Ruthie’s, Kona Ice, Blackwell BBQ, Chicken N Pickle, Sweet & Chill, The Pot Baked Potato Bar, Pruuf Gourmet Pudding, and Bernice’s Cajun Kitchen
- Community Fun: Photo ops, games for all ages, and a festive tailgate atmosphere

Guests can take advantage of safe on-site parking at St. Philip’s or utilize convenient round-trip transportation to and from the State Fair fairgrounds:
