She was a dedicated worker, having proudly retired from Presbyterian Hospital, where her commitment to her craft was widely recognized.

Hattie was more than just a career woman; she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love for her family and friends was a defining aspect of her life, and she cherished each moment spent in their company. Beyond her human connections, Hattie also held a deep affection for her animals, finding joy in their presence and companionship.

She was known for her directness and honesty, never hesitating to speak her mind, which garnered her respect and admiration from all who knew her. Her hard work ethic was matched only by her love for life and the people around her.
