
Dr. Lakisha Culpepper is the Garland ISD Community Liaison to the African American Community. A family person with three children, she understands the importance of building and nurturing relations and instilling the values of compassion, determination and growth. She has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of North Texas and Dallas College.
She has also held several positions in Garland ISD, including Community Liaison, Principal, Assistant Principal, Elementary Support Specialist and teacher. Dr. Culpepper attended Concordia University Texas and East Central University. Spiritually grounded and community-oriented, Dr. Culpepper champions the vital partnership between families, schools, and communities.
