The Imperfect Yet Do What You Can (IYDWUC) Conference, founded by Greta Canfield, recently celebrated its 14th year of uplifting women with a powerful message of faith and self-worth.
Canfield, who created the conference out of her own life experiences, shared her heart for women who often feel left out or “not good enough.”
“I am an advocate for women who feel left out, because of my background and my growing up,” she said. “I have a heart for women who feel that they’re not good enough. And I think because I can relate to that, I want women to know you are good enough, you are God’s child.”
The annual gathering is designed to remind women that true value is not found in material possessions but in God’s grace, which Canfield says is always sufficient. Through the Imperfect Conference, she continues to encourage women to embrace their worth and walk confidently in their faith.
IYDWUC is a women’s outreach organization in the greater Dallas, Texas area that brings together women (and men) who love God, from all walks of life, to encourage each to do what they can.
The IYDWUC 2025 scholarship recipients are: Jasmine Simpson, Kamala Ragoobir, and Mechelle McAlister-Ware. The keynote speaker for the event was Jennifer Henderson, the President and CEO of the Bakari Foundation. The Bakari Foundation provides transformative travel experiences for families who have lost loved ones at the hands of another and youth empowerment for revitalizing distressed communities.
