OBIT: VIVIAN WOOTEN

Vivian Wooten, a beloved member of the community and cherished figure among her family and friends, passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on October 23, 1947, Vivian lived a life defined by her loving and caring nature, her happiness that was contagious, and her deep devotion to her family.

Vivian’s spirit was one of joy and warmth. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand. Her family-oriented values were evident in everything she did, as family gatherings filled her heart with happiness. Vivian created an inviting home where laughter and love flourished, nurturing connections that will last beyond her years.

The community and family are invited to honor Vivian’s memory during a viewing on September 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the viewing, a prayer service will commence at 7:15 PM and will conclude at 8:15 PM at the same location.

Vivian’s life will be celebrated at her funeral service on September 18, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, located at 1311 Murdock Rd, Dallas, TX 75217.

In the wake of her passing, Vivian’s legacy of love, care, and joyous living will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will thrive in the memories created with loved ones and friends throughout her remarkable life.
