Lecrae Gives Fans a Sneak Peek of Reconstruction While Giving Back to the Community

When it comes to artists who can make a significant impact on people’s lives, one person that may come to people’s mind especially in the faith based rap game is Lecrae. As this Friday, he drops his latest album, Reconstruction, giving fans 18 new tracks that offer a deeper dive into who he is in ways we may have never heard before. Yesterday, fans had the exclusive pleasure of hearing a few songs from the album, including Pray for Me, Holiday, and Headphones featuring Killer Mike and T.I. As Lecrae himself says, “This album is bigger than me,” reflecting both the personal and universal messages behind his work.

The listening party at Watermark Community Church drew a big crowd small enough to feel intimate, yet full of energy and excitement. After listening to the album, the real work began: volunteers prepared over 100 care bags filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, ChapStick, deodorant, snacks, and a water bottle to give out to people experiencing homelessness. This act of service highlighted Lecrae’s commitment to giving back and supporting the community.

Fans also got a sneak peek at what’s to come, as Lecrae will return to Dallas for a live concert on November 1, giving everyone a full experience of Reconstruction
