OBIT: KOURTLAND JAMAL HOWARD

Kourtland Jamal Howard, born on October 11, 1996, with a heart as expansive as the Texas skies, left us far too soon on August 1, 2025. His journey on this earth, while brief, was filled with a warmth that ignited joy in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A beacon of kindness, Kourtland’s loving nature drew people to him like moths to a flame. His bright smile was a reflection of his joyful spirit, capable of lifting the heaviest of hearts. With laughter that was truly infectious, he had the rare gift of turning mundane moments into cherished memories, filling every room with light and joy.

As we remember Kourtland, we hold close the echoes of his humor and the gentle way in which he made each person feel unique and valued. He was not just a friend; he was a source of love and laughter, weaving connections that will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched.

In celebration of his life, a Wake will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 12, 2025. Friends and family are welcomed to gather from 6:00 PM as we share stories, memories, and perhaps a laugh or two in honor of the remarkable man we knew and cherished.

Though Kourtland has departed from our sight, the essence of his spirit will linger on, carried by the stories we share and the memories we uphold. His legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire us to live fully, love deeply, and always find joy in the little things. We will miss Kourtland Jamal Howard, but we will carry him forever in our hearts.
