OBIT: ANTHONY WAYNE WILSON

Anthony Wayne Wilson, born on February 28, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, left this world on July 26, 2025. A devoted truck driver, Anthony was employed at Goodman Produce and Hardy’s before taking on the role of custodian at DISD. His commitment to his work was only paralleled by his dedication to his family, which he proudly regarded as his greatest accomplishment.

Throughout his life, Anthony possessed a vibrant personality that combined humor and warmth, earning him the affection of all who knew him. He was a beautiful soul, often described as funny and genuine. Those who were fortunate enough to share their lives with him cherished the joy he radiated.

Anthony’s passion extended beyond his work; he was also an avid basketball fan who loved to dance. In addition to his enthusiasm for the game, he carried an unwavering loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys, illustrating his deep-rooted love for his hometown and its teams. Anthony’s interests kept him engaged and uplifted, drawing friends and family into spirited discussions and lively gatherings.

His legacy will be honored with a Prayer Service at New Mt. Corinth B.C. in Dallas, TX, on August 4, 2025, beginning at 7:00 PM. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place at the same location on August 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Both services will be held at 531 Toronto Street, where family and friends are welcomed to celebrate his life and the beautiful memories they shared.

Anthony Wayne Wilson will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.
