
Lisa Cunningham is a transformational health equity strategist and award-winning filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. She currently serves as Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications and Interim Co-President at the Black Women’s Health Imperative, where she leads impactful national campaigns on women’s health. Lisa directed the acclaimed documentary ‘Me Period’, winner of the Essence Film Festival Audience Award, and produced ‘Power in the Pause’, which is the largest event for Black women focused on perimenopause and menopause. With a background in entertainment marketing and directing, Lisa leverages storytelling to advance health equity and social justice.
