Raised in the nurturing embrace of Chattanooga, Eddie’s formative years were enriched by his education at Orchard Knob High School, where he fostered friendships that would last a lifetime. Following his high school graduation, he embarked on a meaningful career as a skycap, a role through which he not only facilitated travel but also engaged with people from all walks of life—never meeting a stranger, always ready with a warm smile or a helping hand.
Eddie was known for his straightforward demeanor, but those who knew him best understood that behind his no-nonsense exterior was a heart full of compassion and kindness. He was a provider in every sense of the word—nurturing his family with love and support, attending to their needs with gentle patience. His wife, Carolyn Crutcher, stood by his side throughout his life, experiencing both the triumphs and tribulations that life offered.
Eddie’s legacy will forever be carried on by his cherished sons, LeBaron Wallace and Prince Crutcher, as well as his beloved daughter, Asha Together, they shared countless memories, each moment stitched into the fabric of family life.
