OBIT: HENRY ALLEN DUNCAN

Henry Allen Duncan, born on May 30, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 27, 2025, in McKinney, Texas. He lived a remarkable life filled with dedication, love, and a spirit that touched everyone around him.

For over 44 years, Henry was a dedicated employer at Parkland Hospital, where his contributions shaped the lives of countless individuals. His professional journey was marked by a strong commitment to service and a genuine desire to support both his colleagues and the community at large.

Henry was well-known for his vibrant personality. A true “people person,” he was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His home was always open to friends and family, where laughter and joy were the order of the day. He was often described as the life of the party, a dancing machine who could light up any gathering with his infectious enthusiasm. Moreover, those who knew him appreciated his quiet strength and ability to fix almost anything, earning him the nickname “Mr. Fix It.”

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Henry enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. He had a passion for dance and loved spending time shot putting and gaming. His love for football was evident, as he was an avid fan, secretly cheering for the San Francisco 49ers while embracing the camaraderie of fellow sports enthusiasts.

The legacy of Henry Allen Duncan will surely live on in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing him. A visitation will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, on July 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a wake service that will commence at 5:30 PM.

As we remember Henry, let us celebrate not only his life but also the cherished memories we hold of him, a man whose spirit and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.
