OBIT: ROSE THOMPSON

Rose Mary Thompson was born on July 29, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Thomas Sr. and Alene Thompson. She departed her life on June 30, 2025, at the age of 60.

Rose was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She attended schooling in the Dallas metroplex, where she grew up and became a resident in the West Dallas community before moving to Oak Cliff, Texas, in her late 40s with her family. She enjoyed making jokes and interacting with friends. Rose was a very vibrant person.

She leaves to cherish her five children, Latasha Ann Thompson, Shanika Marie Thompson, Terry Ray Thompson, Anna Alene Thompson and Alfred Casteel Jr. III; four brothers, Terry Lee Thompson, Timothy, Jean Thompson, Samuel Ray Thompson, and Thomas Thompson III, Her favorite sister-in-law, Teresa Thompson (Terry), 19 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Her special friend, Henry, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Thompson Sr., and Alene Thompson, and her nephew Darius Thompson. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who loved her and all who knew her.
