
Melissa Harris is the Chief of Communications at the Employees’ Retirement Fund of the City of Dallas, where she leads communication strategy and pension education for more than 14,000 members. With more than 25 years of experience in graphic design and marketing, she specializes in turning complex employee data into clear, engaging content. A Webster University alumna with a Masters degree, she received her Bachelors degree in Broadcast Communication from Edward Waters College. Melissa also serves on advisory and executive boards for organizations like She VETS It, Heroes on the Water, and NPEA. She is known for her innovative use of technology in public pension communication and her leadership in veteran and community-focused initiatives. Melissa honed her skills as a Multimedia Management Specialist for the United States Air Force.
