Father’s Day celebration at Concord Church

Yesterday’s Father’s Day celebration at Concord Church was a heartfelt and powerful gathering centered on fatherhood and faith. Hosted by lead pastor of Concord Church Pastor Bryan Carter and supported by the Mark Cuban Heroes Foundation, the event brought together families for worship, encouragement, and celebration. From inspiring music to a moving message on what it means to walk in “ridiculous faith,” the day honored fathers who are making a lasting impact in their homes and communities.

Pastor Carter emphasized that Father’s Day is more than a holiday “it’s all about celebrating the man who made an impact.” His wife, Stephanie Carter, praised him as “our protector, our prayer warrior, and the minister of our house most importantly, he puts us first.” Their daughter Kaitlyn, a proud Spelman College graduate, added, “My dad is such a great guy. He’s a great example of what it means to be a man of God, a loving father, and someone who works hard but remains gentle.”

The day also featured free treats from food trucks, photo opportunities, and space for families to connect and reflect. It was more than a celebration.
it was a reminder of the vital role fathers play in shaping lives with love, faith, and leadership.
