For Wilmer residents unable to attend city council meetings, Facebook.com/cityofwilmer now offers live or archived option

WILMER, TX – For Wilmer residents whose schedules do not allow them to attend city council meetings, they can still stay informed by watching the monthly meetings online live or archived at Facebook.com/cityofwilmer.

Wilmer’s city council meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.

Agendas are posted on the city’s website prior to the meetings at https://www.cityofwilmer.net/.

“We realize many citizens are not able to attend city council meetings due to busy schedules,” said Wilmer Mayor Shiela Petta. “Offering citizens the chance to watch the meetings live or afterwards is the city’s dedication to transparency. It allows the residents to stay informed and that is important for continuing the growth of this great community.”
