WAYNE HAROLD JONES, a cherished soul whose light shone brightly in the lives of many, passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on October 13, 1948, Wayne was a person who embraced life with vigor, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the honor of knowing him.

In his years, Wayne embodied a unique blend of compassion, wisdom, and joy, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire generations. A man of faith and resilience, he found strength in his community, fostering deep relationships that spanned decades. His laughter was infectious, often echoing in the hearts of those around him, and his kindness was a balm to the weary.

Wayne’s journey will be celebrated during a Prayer Service on February 19, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas Allene, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX, beginning at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. This gathering will serve as a heartfelt opportunity for family and friends to remember the joy he brought into their lives.

On the following day, a Funeral Service honoring Wayne’s remarkable life will be held at CHRISTIAN BUILDERS MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, situated at 9123 Whitehall Lane, Dallas, TX. The service will commence at 11:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM, a poignant farewell to a man who touched so many hearts.
