Dorothy Faye Jones, born on October 22, 1945, in Jacksonville, Texas, to Clarence Rayford Jones and Elvina Dennis, left this world peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Her life journey, filled with spirit, love, and an unwavering sense of community, has touched the hearts of many.

Dorothy was known for her kind and compassionate nature, always ready with a warm smile and a listening ear. She dedicated her life to uplifting those around her, embodying the virtues of generosity and understanding. Throughout her years, Dorothy created bonds that reflected her deep commitment to family and friends, making every connection meaningful and cherished.

The community will gather to pay their respects at a viewing on February 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Following the viewing, a funeral service will be held on February 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of The Living God, also in Dallas. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all who knew and loved Dorothy to celebrate her life and the indelible mark she has left on so many.

Dorothy’s legacy will endure in the memories shared by those who had the privilege to know her, a testament to a life beautifully lived.
