OBIT: MINNIE LEE TINNARD

MINNIE LEE TINNARD, born on June 8, 1957, peacefully left this world on January 23, 2025. She was a beloved member of her family and community, remembered for her warm personality, humor, and profound kindness. Minnie’s legacy is one of joy, as she touched the lives of many with her big heart and caring nature.

Minnie dedicated her career to data entry, where her meticulous nature shone through. Outside her professional life, she served in a significant role as a Praise and Worship Leader, where her musical talent brought comfort and joy to those around her. She could sing beautifully, embodying the spirit and passion that uplifted her community.

A proud graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, Class of 1975, Minnie continued to be a source of inspiration and fellowship throughout her life. Her ability to give everyone a name showcased her personal touch and her commitment to making everyone feel special and included.

Minnie is survived by her daughter, Crystal Tinnard; her sisters, Yolanda Norman, Gail Cook, and Joyce Wyatt; and her granddaughter, Unity Tinnard. Each of them carries forth her loving spirit and the memories they shared.

Friends and family are invited to gather in her memory. There will be a viewing on February 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A funeral service will follow on February 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Rose Church, also in Dallas.

Minnie Lee Tinnard will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
