Born on July 24, 1939, in the vibrant city of Shreveport, Louisiana, Willie Faye spent years nurturing her family with an extraordinary affection that would shape their lives in profound ways.

To know Willie Faye was to experience a palpable love, as she radiated warmth wherever she went. Her gentle spirit drew people to her, illuminating even the darkest of days with her laughter and kindness. She possessed an innate ability to forge deep connections, and her family often remarked on the joy she felt when surrounded by those she loved. Her world revolved around her family, and in their presence, she found her truest happiness.

As we recall the memories shared with her, we can almost hear the soft echoes of her laughter and feel the warmth of her smile—those small but significant moments that breathed life into gatherings, celebrations, and everyday moments. Willie Faye embraced life with grace, always putting others before herself, and leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.

The community will come together to honor her life at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. A viewing will be held on January 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, allowing friends and family to pay their respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman. A funeral service will follow the next day, beginning at 9:00 AM, echoing her spirit of love and remembrance. Willie Faye will then make her final journey to rest at Grand Prairie Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest at 11:30 AM, forever encircled by the love she so freely gave.
