OBIT: ROY HAMILTON GOINS JR.

ROY HAMILTON GOINS JR., born on September 3, 2000, passed away on January 10, 2025. A proud member of the Army, Roy served as a 12 Charlie Engineer, dedicating himself to the values of service and commitment that embody the spirit of our armed forces.

A graduate of Little Elm High School, Class of 2018, Roy was known for his infectious humor and always cheerful disposition. Those who knew him would often remark on his funny nature and unwavering happiness, traits that made him a beloved presence in the lives of many.

Roy’s family, who will carry his memory forward, includes his mother, Carla Bruce-Oforum, and his father, Roy Goins Sr. He is also survived by his sisters: Faithtorian, Kiara Ross, Ligermanique Goins, Shandrial Goins, and Royaltie Goins. His brother, Ieyan Bruce, also mourns the loss of a cherished sibling.

As we remember Roy, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, dedication, and the love he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his joy and spirit remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
