The President of the Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, she graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in System Analysis and then received a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership at Columbia Southern University. A South Oak Cliff Golden Bear, Karla is a wife, mother and grandmother who will also celebrate her 40th wedding anniversary this year on October 26.
