JESSIE DEAN BURLEY (October 7, 1947 – December 30, 2024)

Jessie Dean Burley, a vibrant soul whose spirit touched the lives of many, passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on October 7, 1947, Jessie was a true embodiment of joy and enthusiasm, known as the life of the party and a source of laughter and love. Her love for dancing and her unwavering dedication to hard work showed her passion for life.

Jessie was an independent woman who instilled wisdom in those fortunate enough to know her. She served her community gracefully as a devoted church member, taking on roles such as Sunday school coordinator and usher, where her faith and commitment shone brightly. Jessie’s nurturing nature extended beyond her church duties; she was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and guidance will be profoundly missed by her family.

A viewing is scheduled for January 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on January 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM at Greater New Zion Baptist Church, situated at 2210 Pine Street, Dallas, TX 75215.

Jessie’s legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding them of a life lived to the fullest.
