Local comedian performs during Phat Tuesday Holiday Edition at TKs in Addison

Many have heard the phrase “Laughter is the best medicine.” A heavy dose was given with a side of cheer to wash it all down during comedian Nanette Lee’s annual Phat Tuesday Holiday Edition on Dec. 17, 2024 at TK’s in Addison, TX.

With her quick wit and comedic style, Lee delivered jokes while also providing a platform for others. Seven local comics graced the stage with hilarious sets that had the crowd roaring with laughter and at times, in tears.

Many show attendees took advantage of the buffet offered at TK’s that featured a charcuterie display, salad, a penne pasta and chicken dish, meatballs and bacon-wrapped shrimp.

“I know y’all are just here for the gifts,” Nanette Lee joked a few times throughout the night before commencing to bestow many of her favorite things.

From designer sunglasses, tumblers, cigar accessories and high-end restaurant gift cards, attendees were encouraged to open their presents in front of the live audience to share what they received. In the beginning, raffle numbers were called, however for Lee, it became cumbersome so she later gave gifts at random, ensuring no one left empty handed.

All jokes aside, joy swept Lee’s face as she witnessed others’ delight in receiving the items she presented. Attendees left with a lot of love and respect for the generosity of the famed entertainer.
