The debate team from Morehouse College has demonstrated time and again that it is one of the best college debate teams in the nation. Recently, the team also proved that it is one of the best in North America. College debate teams from the United States and Canada were invited to compete at the North American Championships of the Lafayette Debates held at the French Embassy in Washington, DC. Small and large colleges, public and private colleges all participated; Morehouse was the only HBCU.
